The most effective means of reducing losses is through loss prevention. The founding member counties of Trinity and Del Norte have grown to the current ten members: Alpine, Colusa, Del Norte, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Plumas, San Benito, Sierra & Trinity counties. The Trindel Loss Prevention Program provides support and assistance for its member counties with resources and services to establish and maintain an aggressive loss prevention program. Trindel’s Loss Prevention Program services and resources are available to its members and include but are not limited to the following:

  • Safety Trainings & Resources
  • Program & Policy Research & Development
  • Incident/Hazard Investigation & Inspection
  • Loss Prevention Program Evaluation
  • Leadership Supervisor Training
  • Policy, Procedure & Guidelines
  • Workplace Employee Mediation
  • Regulation

If a loss prevention and/or safety need arise that is not addressed by existing services. Trindel Staff will endeavor to develop and provide the services to address that need. It is the goal of the Trindel Insurance Fund Loss Prevention Program to assist and support its member counties in providing a safe and healthy environment for the public and employees while reducing losses through effective loss prevention strategies.
